Esperance turned up and showed out in the name of community spirit at last week’s fundraiser at The Traveller’s Inn.
The event was organised to raise money to support the Ronald McDonald House charity and the Hart family who have recently relocated to Perth following the cancer diagnosis of their six-year-old son Shay.
“It was such a beautiful Afternoon of sunshine, live music and ocean views raising over $20,000 for the Hart Family and Ronald McDonald House Charity,” event organiser Limara Stephen said.
“All music acts kindly donated their time and included Kyza, Big Heart Adventure, Talia Storm and Cup Trumpets.”
An array of local businesses also contributed to the event, encouraged by the opportunity to support a local family and a worthy cause.
It was a feeling that was shared with the many members of the community who decided to spend their Sunday at the Travs, enjoying the event and contributing to the fundraiser.
