Felicity’s winning design

A TAFE student from Esperance has designed a winning distracted driver campaign featured on South West Road signs and billboards.

Felicity Jones is a Graphic Design student at South Regional TAFE who created the campaign as part of a national road safety project.

A TAFE spokesperson said Ms Jones’ campaign, “Distracted driving In this economy?” was the winning design for Regional Western Australia.

“Felicity’s campaign stood out for its creative approach to a critical issue, using a popular Gen Z phrase to deliver a clear and pointed message to young drivers,” they said.

“Her work has featured on South West roadside billboards and online, raising safety awareness in the local community.”

Ms Jones said it was an “incredible” feeling to have her work out in the world.

“I’m proud to know that my work could help save lives,” she said.
