A snake wrapped around the wheel of a child’s toy and another that came up through a septic system into a vanity basin are just two domestic situations Darren Darch has encountered in Esperance.
The wildlife rescuer and snake removalist has updated his information booklet for Esperance people.
He said it had more pictures of snakes in a “residential” setting.

After a highly popular snake awareness session at The Cannery Arts Centre last month Mr Darch is planning to host a repeat workshop in February.
Participants are taught to recognise various snakes, their habits, how to discourage them from coming into the home and what to do if they happen to find them anyway.
People needing a snake removed may call Mr Darch on 0404 387 215.
