A damaged car that was left on the side of Harbour Road has ended up on its roof under suspicious circumstances.
Acting senior sergeant Natasha Phillips said Esperance police became aware of the vehicle last weekend, after it was believed to have been involved in a road accident.

Sgt Phillips said the car was the right way up when it was first inspected.
“It looks a bit more exciting than what it is,” she said.
“The mystery of how it ended up on its roof is still unknown.”
The inverted vehicle is now tyreless, and its open doors reveal a smashed windscreen and deflated airbag.

Contents from the car have been scattered on the grass within the immediate vicinity.
Sgt Phillips said the circumstance of the vehicle crash were still under investigation.
