Member for Roe Peter Rundle said the Nationals WA were an independent Party with their own priorities and policies.

“We certainly won’t be taking advice from WA Labor on what Esperance needs,” he said. “After nearly a decade of Labor neglect, our focus is on fixing the broken health system, tackling the housing crisis, and improving education opportunities for regional communities.”

Mr Rundle said the Nationals had committed $60 million for Esperance Senior High School upgrades, a $10 million MRI machine at Esperance Health Campus, and $6.5 million to for worker’s accommodation in Esperance.

“We are also the only party committed to taking the South Coast Marine Park back to the drawing board, ensuring proper consultation with local communities,” he said.
