EDFA’s round eight will feature the third meeting of the best sides in the League competition for the 2025 season tomorrow as Esperance make the trip over Six-Mile Hill to Gibson Oval.
Winners of the previous two encounters by six and 14 points earlier in the season at the Bulldogs home ground, the Tigers will be confident in continuing a winning streak on their home deck.
Gibson accounted for Newtown-Condingup at Newtown Oval last Saturday by 55 points, restricting the Lions to one goal, 9.11 (65) to 1.4 (10).
Trent Stevens provided three goals as Patrick Quinlivan was awarded the Think Mental Health match ball for his best on ground display.

Youngsters Torin Pechar and Tom Tate also played influential roles in Gibson’s victory in which the Tigers kept the Lions scoreless after halftime.
Esperance are starting to assemble close to a full strength squad to challenge the Tigers as renowned goal kicker Matt Harding played his first match of the season against Ports on Saturday.
Played at the Blues home ground, the hosts had no answer for the Bulldogs as they piled on six goals to nil in the first quarter, going on to win by 132 points 20.19 (139) to 1.1 (7).
Brendon White did his chances of collecting a third Hepburn medal no harm as Sam Franzone kicked six goals for the victors, Harding and Johann Councillor flashing in for three goals apiece.

Tyson Graham received the Think Mental Health game ball for a dominant four quarter display in the Bulldogs midfield.
Riley Mayfield, Jordan Cole and Keenan Rymer battled hard for the Blues as Liam Creedon provided some joy for Ports, kicking their first goal of the match in the last quarter.
After the home loss to the Bulldogs, Ports will be looking to rebuild their season tomorrow against the Lions and in turn the Lions will have its sights set on consecutive wins against the youthful Blues.
