Police arrested a man for the possession of Methamphetamine with intent to sell or supply late last week.
A convoy of police vehicles with sirens blaring zoomed along Dempster Street towards Castletown just after 1pm.
Esperance senior sergeant Chris Taylor said the cars were headed to assist officers at the scene with the arrest.
“He was dealing drugs out of a park,” senior sergeant Taylor said.

“It’s enough to say it is an amount for selling and supplying – there was nothing else he was going to do other than sell it.
“He was found with an amount of cash in the thousands as well.”
Esperance police have been cracking down on drug dealers in the last few months due to a spike in Methamphetamine-related incidents.
Sergeant Taylor said the operation was going well so far.

“We are charging people regularly,” he said.
“This was the first sell and supply we have got in a couple of weeks, so it was great.”
He said the perpetrator would most likely front court soon.
