Alleged Esperance scammer Sarah Jayne Kelly, 30, was denied bail again on July 31 as she fronted court for sentencing a fourth time.

In February she was charged in Esperance with reckless conduct that may have caused suffering to a child in her care.

Police said Ms Kelly fabricated a plethora of severe illnesses and disorders from which she claimed she and her four children were suffering.

Police say in one instance she had a feeding tube inserted in her child’s mouth, which was removed a year later as doctors found ā€œnothing was wrongā€.

Police said her children’s supposed leukaemia, cerebral palsy, eating disorders, autism and ADHD were false.

Ms Kelly evaded Esperance Court in February by fleeing to NSW with her family.

She was later extradited to Perth facing another charge related to her non-appearance in court.

Police said she could be subject to other charges in Queensland too, related to alleged fraudulent activities from before she lived in Esperance.

Ms Kelly remains in custody and is due to face court in Perth again on August 11.
