Crane sends Rams to Grand Final.
Ram’s Nicholas Crane provided a best-on-ground performance last weekend that reinforced a 4-1 victory in the Esperance Hockey Association men’s qualifying final.
Playing against Cascade for a spot in next week’s grand final, Crane scored two goals in the wet conditions, complimented by a goal apiece to Sam Guest and Zach Warren.
Cascade were sent to an early lead through Sam Fetherstonhaugh’s lunging effort which caught the Ram’s defenders off guard.

In the men’s elimination final, played in shockingly wet conditions, Condingup led by veteran duo Garry Wilson and Mark Darlow with two goals apiece, sent Wolves from this seasons title race with a 6-2 win.
The crafty pair were joined by Matt Clawson and Charlie Tate on the scoresheet for the Cougars as Fritz Labuscagne and David Stephen found the back of the net for Wolves.
Condingup will face Cascade in the preliminary final on Saturday at 3.00pm, Cascade having the wood over the Cougars in the three previous meetings this season.

Mallee win fiery encounter.
Mallee earned a place in this season’s EHA women’s grand final after a 3-1 win against Furies in the qualifying final on Saturday.
Harriett Collins continued her scoring streak with two goals, and Emma-Jane Carney scored as well to put Mallee through to next week’s grand final.
Furies captain Jacqui Tonkin scored a goal in the first half to see her side trail 2-1 at the main break.
The match saw tempers reach boiling point the last quarter as Furies looked to force a late equaliser, as Mallee then settled the result with a goal the just before the final whistle.

In the earlier elimination final, Condingup were left singing in the rain after tense 2-1 win against Emus.
Two goals to Janelle Eves was enough for the Cougars, who were locked at 1-1 with Emus at half time after a goal to Issy Sanford.
Condingup will meet Furies in the preliminary final on Saturday at 1.00pm, in which both teams have shared 2-1 wins against each other in their two encounters in this season.
