Future school leavers, job seekers and curious Esperance residents learned about more than 100 professions at the community employment jobs expo at the Civic Centre on Wednesday, September 17.

The event by Workforce Australia and MEEDAC attracted around 500 people, according to Esperance jobs coordinator Andrea Wynne.

“I think it was a successful event,” Ms Wynne said.

“This year we introduced a “passport” to encourage engagement with our store holders… we know that many people had lots of discussions.

“We hope to be back in 2026.”
