WA Regional Development minister Stephen Dawson made a quick visit to Esperance Community Services on Tuesday to announce a $60,000 grant for the group’s Nulsen community hub, the former Gumtree Church building.
He said the grant was an election commitment to fund solar panels for the new facility.
“Esperance Care Services do an amazing job helping local people who need to access their services,” Mr Dawson said.
“With this new facility and the growth being able to put solar panels on there will hopefully help with costs moving forward.”
