A fine-dining experience: Bistro Louis weddings

Bistro Louis offers an intimate fine dining experience for parties of up to 45 in the leafy Esperance Museum Village, according to partners Paul McKay and Catherine West.

“It’s an easy place for weddings because it’s all inclusive, we’re fully licensed and we’ve got this beautiful venue, we’ve got the kitchen to make the very best food,” Catherine said.

This she described as classical French cuisine reimagined for Australia in 2025, with fresh locally sourced ingredients from the ocean and farms of the region.

As a well-known special occasion venue, Paul said weddings were a natural extension of their activities.

However he said they were also able to cater to larger gatherings off site at a range of venues from small weddings at home to the Esperance Civic Centre.

“We try to be very attentive and take people from their tentative ideas of what they would like and work with them to come up with something that really is special and really is perfect for them,” Catherine said.
