There was a garbage truck full of presents, the grinch became a fireman and Santa’s reindeer were replaced by dirt bike riders. It all happened at this year’s Christmas pageant.
Despite the blustery afternoon, the Esperance community was out in full force, lining the road of Esperance Esplanade.
One by one, representatives of local businesses and community groups made their way down the road, passing out goodies to kids.
Highlights included Esperance Mechanical Restoration group’s immaculate cars, the Thai community in traditional dress and the last hurrah from the Esperance theatre guild’s Shrek the Musical.
