Esperance Public Library will be participating in 2025’s summer reading quest.
A spokesperson from the library was encouraging kids to get involved and get reading over the holidays.
“Don’t let this summer slide, spark the desire of reading for fun this summer holiday,” they said.
“Either come into the library and pick up your Reading Quest logbooks or register online.”
A Libraries spokesperson said this year’s summer reading quest would run for the month of January and was themed to encourage kids to “discover ancient worlds”.
They said Prizes were up for children who logged their summer reading.
“There’s heaps of prizes to be won at a state level and at a local level,” they said.
“It’s great to be able to promote and encourage reading over summer to keep those lifelong skills ticking along.”
More information about registration can be found on the summer reading quest website.
