After 25 years working as a family day care educator she has been recognised as the National Educator of the Year in the 2024 Excellence in Family Day Care Awards.
Fewings takes the prize
Local artist Elaine Fewings won top gong and a $3000 prize at the Esperance Art awards for her piece The Gentle Nature of Peaceful Resistance.

Threats to ground-nesting birds: Focus on plovers
