The anatomy of deep-sea fish, hydrocarbon solutions to oil spills, and the strongest zinc for skin protection were among the experiments Esperance Senior High School students undertook for their science fair.

The Year 8 scientists showcased their findings at the school’s library on Wednesday and Thursday last week, while “judges” from different organisations around Esperance selected their favourite projects.
Winning students received prizes for their efforts.
