A home in Castletown was “significantly damaged” in a Tuesday morning fire.
A spokesperson from the Department of Fire and Emergency Services said they received multiple zero calls about the house on Douglas Street at about 7.50am on Tuesday.
“We had four appliances at the scene from Esperance Volunteer Fire and Rescue services and Pink Lake Bushfire Brigade,” she said.
The spokesperson said the house was fully involved in flames and a lot of the flame activity was in the roof cavity, causing significant damage to the roof.
On Tuesday morning, she said no one had been hurt in the fire that was extinguished by 8.30am and the cause of the fire was unknown.
