An Esperance man who was crash tackled by local police pleaded guilty to drug and hindering police related charges in the Esperance Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Magistrate William Yoo fined him $275 and ordered the destruction of the drugs and paraphernalia.
Quentin Robert Anderson, 41, was found in possession of methylamphetamine and two glass smoking implements on March 27.
He was riding his bike and refused to stop when asked by police.

A video of the incident on social media showed Anderson riding toward Esperance skate park when a bystander threw a picnic blanket in his direction.
The blanket became lodged in his rear wheel, stopping him in his tracks. A police officer then launched at him and brought him to the ground.
Anderson represented himself in court. He said he had been attending a social dance class with his partner just before the incident and did not stop because of an incident in which police tried to apprehend him a month prior.
