Hajni Hodász said she had been blown away by the talent in her fortnightly paint and sip sessions at Lucky Bay Brewing.
As an experienced painting instructor, she said she believed anyone could draw or paint with a little guidance, but it seemed the skill came naturally to her Esperance participants.
“Everybody in my session does amazing work,” she said.
“It seems like everyone can paint.”
Hodász said to her surprise, the sessions had been a hit since she started them in December last year, each one quickly booking up.

“I was worried nobody would come,” she said.
“I have been blown away since the first session.
“Now I have one or two regulars but always different people too.”
She said she designs a new painting for each session, drawing inspiration from pictures she had taken or places she had been in Esperance.

During the session, participants would be provided with a canvas, paint brushes and everything else needed to replicate the piece of Esperance Hodász would demonstrate.
She said all the participants had to bring was an open mind, a willingness to have fun and some money to purchase a couple drinks from the bar.
After all, it wouldn’t be a paint and sip without a beverage.
“After a few drinks you are braver to hold a brush and do anything,” she said.
Hodász said her sessions currently run once every two weeks at Lucky Bay Brewing, with March 19 being the next session.
Due to limited availability Hodász said it was better for people to secure their place early so they wouldn’t miss out.
Tickets can be purchased for $50 via a link on the Brewery’s Facebook page.
Hodász said she was also open to host private paint and sip events for birthdays, hens’ nights or fundraisers and people could get in touch with her via her Instagram.
