Pink Lake IGA shop assistant Tauese Faaeteete with Esperance Chamber of Commerce and Industry staff Sabrina Page and Fran Standish-Whitelaw.
He has been working at Pink Lake IGA ever since he left school three years ago, and now Tauese Faaeteete has been recognised for delivering exceptional customer service.
Esperance Chamber of Commerce and Industry staff presented the Customer Service Award at his workplace on Friday.
“He’s the best advert for our businesses,” his employer Carolyn Chambers aid.
“It’s great customer service and I couldn’t be more proud of the way you conduct yourself in the shop.”
ECCI representative Fran Standish-White said Mr Faaeteete’s service was impeccable.
“You’re always happy to help with a smile, your manners are just so wonderfully polite and you’re very deserving of this award,” she said.
Mr Faaeteete said he was just happy to be nominated.
“I was surprised when I got that call yesterday and I’m happy what I’m doing is recognized,” he said.
