Perth jazz singer Cathrine Summers and her band provided the entertainment for the evening.
The Grove to table dining event was a fine edition to the festivities of last weekend’s hiking festival.
Guests were guided into the heart of the Yirri Grove, where among the olive trees they dined on Esperance’s first-class local produce.
This included cocktails with gin from the Esperance Distillery Co, bread from Bread Local and indigenous ingredients like youlk, also known as the Ravensthorpe radish.
The detailed four-course degustation was the work of Fervor team and head chef, Paul “Yoda” Iskov with wine parings from La Violetta wines.
The event was in collaboration with Heyscape, who offer off-grid and eco-friendly accommodation all around Western Australia and had their Esperance tiny home on display in the olive grove for guests to walk through.
