Unfortunately, extreme wind cancelled matches for our younger teams on Sunday May 25.
Our country week hopefuls still turned up eager to highlight their skills for selection in the Circati and Taggart teams at this year’s championships.
The association has decided to take two teams in the 11 and under boys divisions this year to increase the number of players allowed to experience the excitement and development of country week football.

This will provide the players with a super challenging week, as they take on teams from clubs five or six times as large as ours.
Country week football takes place in Perth, September 29 – October 3, but the preparation starts now.
All regional towns can enter teams into the five day tournament and last year there were more than 1000 junior players taking part.
This year will mark fifty years of country week, and a seniors tournament will kick start the event the weekend before.
Esperance will be fielding a senior men’s team to mark the special occasion.
