Country football’s biggest stage is gearing up for a blockbuster showing as the 59th edition of the Nutrien Ag Solutions Country Football Championships returns to the Perth and Peel regions this July.

More than 50 matches will be played across eight venues from July 10-13, with the CBH Group Colts divisions kicking off on July 10 and 11 and the Nutrien Ag Solutions Men’s divisions running from July 11–13.

The Esperance District Football Association will be competing in division three for the third year running, looking to go one better than its runners-up position at last season’s Championships.

Qualifying for the final after three wins from four matches, the EDFA representative side suffered defeat at the hands of the Great Southern Football League, 7.7 (49) to 3.4 (22) in the soggy grand final played at Leederville Oval.

The GSFL have been promoted to division two for this year’s Championships as the Mortlock Football League were relegated from that division after a winless campaign.

Hills, North Midlands, Central Wheatbelt and the Lower South West round out the remainder of the division which marks the LSWFL’s return to the Championships after last fielding a side in 2018.

The CBH Group Colts Championships will feature two divisions with Regional Districts competing in Division two against Kimberley Spirit, Avon/Mortlock and the Pilbara.

The Regional Districts Colts side is made up of players that are selected for their performances at the Great Southern Colts Carnival on June 14 and 15.

The team will feature representatives from Eastern Districts, Esperance, Goldfields, Lower South West and Upper Great Southern.

In a move for the first time outside of the Perth and Peel region, the Women’s competitions of the Nutrien Ag Solutions Country Football Championships will be held in Bunbury from October 1–3.

Fans across the State will be able to follow every match via live streaming on Streamer, bringing the action directly into homes throughout regional WA.
