Esperance-based builders, Dixon Constructions and Partington Building Contractors have been chosen as finalists for the WA Master Builder excellence awards.
The Master Builder awards recognise the best residential projects and builders across WA.
Each construction company nominates a home which is inspected by judges who assess the finishing details.

Partington Building Contractors were selected as finalists for the $2 – $4 million “home of the year” category.
“Very nice house built very well by some very good tradesman,” Brett Partington said.
Dixon Constructions manager Shannan Dixon said his company was a finalist in the $1 – $2 million “home of the year” and “Best in Sustainable Building Practices”.

“It’s a pretty prestigious award… We’re pretty pumped about it,” Mr Dixon said.

Dixon Constructions nominated a house in West Beach they built last year.
Mr Dixon said it was the first project they had entered that had been selected for the state award.
“All the trades did a really good job – it’s finished really nicely,” he said.
“It’s just nice that all the hard work you put in gets awarded and recognised.”

Mr Dixon said Dixon Constructions and Partington Building Contractors were amongst the handful of regionally based companies chosen as state excellence finalists.
Winners will be announced in November at the awards night in Perth.
