The Lions finished strong to win by nine points, 4.6 (30) to 3.3 (21), its second win against the Blues this season.

The Bulldog’s outscored the Tigers after quarter time by three goals to run out 23 point winners 8.10 (53) to 5.5 (35).
The Bulldogs win places them a game behind the Tigers on the ladder in the race for the minor premiership.
In all likelihood the minor premiership will be decided in the team’s round 11 clash early next month at Gibson Oval.Â
Lions were defeated by Ports 8.5 (53) to 4.7 (31).
