Escare is hosting a Pop-up Café at the Museum Entrance Park next Friday as part of WA mental health week.
Escare family and community worker Megs Sims said collaboration was at the heart of the event, with a wide range of Esperance services joining in to share resources, provide support, and connect with the community.
New Moon coffee van, Rotary Fish van, Kool Cones ice cream, Dalyup Donuts, ECS sausage sizzle and Centrecare cupcakes will feature at the event on October 3 from 10am to 1pm.

Café goers will find facepainting, a photobooth and can listen to live music too, while mindfulness and interactive activities will be provided by other Esperance Community Services.
It is the nineth year the support service has run the Pop-up Café and Ms Sims said thanks to funding everything would be free for the community.
“The Pop-up Café provides a natural café experience for everybody — not everybody can afford to go to a café and purchase a coffee and not everybody feels comfortable to go into a café,” she said.

“It’s about creating that atmosphere and space outside for everyone to come together.

“Finance is obviously a massive barrier to lots of families and individuals which also contributes to negative mental health so it’s about breaking down that isolation and being inclusive to everybody.
“The Pop-up Café is about having fun and enjoying time out in nature.”
Ms Sims said the focus of the café was to promote positive mental health by learning skills to increase resilience, encouraging connections and promote local services that could provide support.

She said the mental health week Pop-up Café is set up in the centre of town inviting all community members to attend, enjoy a hot drink and food while interacting in activities and listening to the live music.
The Pop-up Café has been funded by Southern Ports, Workforce Australia and the Shire of Esperance.
