Here’s the best spots to catch fish this week

The Oldfield Inlet is an exceptional fishing spot now as the inlet has broken through to the ocean. Monster bream, salmon and herring are navigating their way from the creek to the ocean and large gummy sharks and bronze whalers are lurking in the area too.

Sand whiting and skippy fish are aplenty at Warrenup beach while Alexander Bay is a salmon fisher’s paradise.

Catches from last week.

Dunn Rocks is the place for soapy sized mulloway if you can outfish the crabs.

At Town Bay and Bandy Creek, the herring are still going crazy. It is a great spot for the kids to get out of the house and catch some fish, with nice big squid coming from the boats.

Decent sized blue fin were found off the back of Observatory Island.

Breaksea cod and queen snapper are around Remark Island.

Red snapper are still a bit slow but if you move around you will find them.
