The Esperance Hockey Association will have a hiatus in the regular season fixtures this weekend as it sends four sides to the annual South West Junior Hockey Carnival in Bunbury.

The carnival, run over three days, will see up to 130 teams consisting of over 1000 players who will come from all over the State to participate in a round-robin format.
The EHA will be represented in the 7/8 and 9/10 girls’ divisions and the 5/6 and 9/10 boys’ divisions.
The Esperance teams are fixtured to contest up to nine games over the weekend, consisting of 2 x 15-minute halves, played on both grass and turf finishing with the grand finals on the Monday.

The EHA Senior and Masters teams for the Women’s and Men’s Country Championships are busy tuning up to participate in Perth on the weekends of 13-15 June and 20-22 June, respectively.
