The final round of the Esperance Hockey Association season saw Condingup and Furies meet in a dress rehearsal for tomorrow’s Women’s first semi-final.
A Terri Herbert goal for Condy was all that separated the two sides at the full time whistle as Sian Welten was judged to be the best player on the pitch.
Emus warmed up for the second semi final against Mallee with a six-nil win, Nicky Tesoriero scoring a hat trick.
Bacchus finished its season with a ten-nil win against Legs XI as six players appeared in the goalscorers column for Bacchus.
In the Men’s division Rams and Cascade will meet in the second semi-final after close wins against Condingup (3-2) and Sharks (4-3), respectively.
George Carmody for Cascade kept up his goal scoring streak with a hat trick.
The Association’s 2024 season’s wind up will be held next Saturday at the Travellers Inn Wine Bar with proceedings set to start at 6pm, tickets are available to be purchased from the bar or canteen.
