Lovers of fine vintage machinery are invited to polish their prized possessions and wheel them out for the biennial Outta the Shed show on Sunday, March 16.

The classic car and motorcycle show is a collaboration between Esperance Mechanical Restoration Group, the Veteran Car Club and Outta the Shed Inc.

EMRG president Bruce Campbell said all the money raised would be going back into the community.

“The three clubs got together in a joint effort to ensure the show would continue,” he said.

“On show will be cars, trucks, utes and motorbikes — the trucks and the utes are a new category to the show included this year.

“Each category will be open to the public to vote for a people’s choice winner.”

Those wishing to enter in the show may register online at outtatheshed.org, or on paper by calling 0458 714 115 or 0438 496 781 for forms.

“Some of the older people with older cars don’t have access to technology, so

people can also register on the day at the gate,” Mr Campbell said.

“All vehicles must be in before 8.30am because gates open to the public at 9am.”

Mr Campbell said all were welcome to attend this family outing.

“This event is for all to exhibit their vehicles whether it’s roadgoing, completed works or works in progress,” he said.

“We really need the support of the Esperance community to ensure this event is a great success as it was in 2023.”

Mr Campbell said morning teas and cakes would be available at the VCC clubroom with a sausage sizzle and burgers at the EMRG facility, both on the McLean Road Chadwick block.

The EMRG sheds will also be open to all visitors to view the collections of machinery and other artefacts.
