Police are searching for missing Castletown man, Dean Barry Edwards, who was last seen on May 15 at a Norseman service station.
According to police, the 59-year-old was driving North in a white Isuzu DMAX, which they found abandoned on Banker-Mount Day Road – a dirt track between Norseman and Hyden.
Police said they were notified of Mr Edwards’ disappearance on June 30 by his brother who raised concerns for his welfare.

Police inspector Mick Kelly said Mr Edwards was last seen at the BP in Norseman, where he purchased fuel and food.
He said it was the last known time his phone had been activated.
“We are desperately seeking assistance from the public who may have seen him or may have communicated with him around that BP area in Norseman,” Mr Kelly said.

Inspector Kelly said police from Norseman, Eucla, Kambalda and Kalgoorlie had been conducting an extensive search for Mr Edwards.

“We’ve utilised our drone capability and we’ve searched an area of 500 metres radius of where the vehicle was last seen,” Mr Kelly said.
“It’s relatively remote… with dense bushland in places and shrubbery.”
Inspector Kelly said there was nothing to suggest any criminality.
He said they held concerns for Mr Edwards’ mental health.
Police are urging people who have seen or heard from Mr Edwards to contact Crime Stoppers.
