A young person on a moped was knocked to the ground after they were hit by a motorist at the Windich Street roundabout last Thursday morning.
Police said the driver would most likely receive an infringement for careless driving.
“They ran into the young person on a moped without giving way to them,” police said.
A witness said they saw the driver stop and render assistance to a person lying next to their vehicle, blocking traffic on the busy street.
Police said the rider received “very minor injuries”.Â
