A police search in August last year uncovered an array of drugs at a house in Pink Lake.

Resident Kimberly Henning, 51, fronted the Magistrates court last Tuesday and pleaded guilty to possession and drug paraphernalia-related charges.

Police uncovered a plastic smoking pipe, five LSD tabs, 0.4 grams of Methylamphetamine, weed, and a small amount of an illegal substance, which the Magistrate struggled to pronounce.

On the search date, Henning had just three weeks left of a community-based order from a prior charge.

Henning told police the drugs were from his “old days” and said he had forgotten about them.

He said he had attended community programs and had stopped taking drugs prior to the incident and remained clean.

Magistrate Lyons accepted Henning engaged well in community programs and awarded him a 10 per cent discount.

He handed down a fine totalling $1,740 and ordered the destruction of the contraband.
