Police are looking for a woman who held up a Ravensthorpe service station in an alleged armed robbery last week.

According to the police, at about 5:15pm on Wednesday at the Ravensthorpe Morgans Street BP Truckstop, the unknown woman threatened the service station employees with a metal object, requesting money from the till.

Detective Snr Sgt Dean Bailey of Albany police said that the woman escaped with a sum of money and though no witnesses were physically hurt, the incident was “traumatizing” for those involved. 

Detective Snr Sgt Bailey urged anyone who may have information about the alleged incident to get in contact with police.

“Anyone who was around that area at that time of day near the BP in Ravensthorpe or has a dash cam can they contact crime stoppers,” he said.
