Esperance’s Royal Arch freemasons met for the annual Installation of Principals ceremony on Saturday, with visitors travelling from Perth and Kalgoorlie to assist.
Outgoing first principal Richard Fowler installed his successor Glenn Mitchell in the chair, while Peter Trotter and Colin Roe were re-installed as second and third principals.
They then enjoyed a congenial meal of salads, fish and chips with toasts.
Not all Freemasons go on to become Royal Arch masons. While it affords the opportunity to participate in many more interesting ceremonies it requires a greater time commitment.
