A sewing journey that started 12 years ago will be showcased in the Cannery Art Room Gallery from today until September 21.
Tracey Bareli’s solo exhibition, Stitch by Stitch: The Evolution of a Quilter features 30 contemporary and upcycled quilts.
Bareli’s colourful creations show her growth as a sewer, from her first Singer machine to mastering the Long Arm Quilting machine.
Each of her works show her deep love for textiles and her passion for storytelling through fabric.
Entry to the exhibition is free.
Viewers will be able to purchase Bareli’s works directly from the artist.
