Emerging Esperance musicians and songwriters will be performing their original material this Sunday at the Cannery.

Music entrepreneur Kyron Smithson said it would be their first public appearance after 10 weeks of workshops.

“It’s a program we just ran at the Civic Centre for 12-18 year olds with drums and PAs,” he said.

“Paige Valentine did a session on vocals and songwriting, Isaac Wallace did a session on beat making and Joe Franzone did a session on drums and rhythm.”

WAM Youth Sounds will be at the Cannery Arts Centre from 1-4pm this Sunday.

It is sponsored by WA Music and Healthway.
